The Adobe Flash Player is an Internet browser plug-in that enables playback for streaming Flash video. The application is widely used on the Web and it has been adopted by online video destinations like YouTube, Vimeo, Hulu and Dailymotion. Any video that has been encoded to stream through the Adobe Flash Player is stored in the FLV format.
